PADI Certification Classes
Tres Pelicanos Dive Center is a certified PADI shop (#S24516) offering comprehensive scuba diving lessons in Cozumel for both beginners and advanced divers. All course prices are listed in US Dollars plus local taxes and conveniently include all necessary dive gear. To accommodate busy schedules, PADI’s eLearning platform allows students to complete the academic portion of their dive education on a computer or mobile device before finishing their in-water training with a PADI Professional. The foundational Open Water Diver certification involves starting with eLearning, then practicing skills in confined and shore water, and culminates with a two-tank boat dive. After completing the online portion, students pay an additional fee to finish their certification at the dive shop and receive a PADI Crewpack. Finally, the highly popular Enriched Air Diver (Nitrox) specialty course is also offered, which significantly increases a diver’s no-decompression time, especially during repetitive dives.
Scuba Diving Gear for Rent
At Tres Pelicanos we have chosen Scuba Pro as our equipment supplier. Scuba Pro led the industry with innovative equipment that made diving safer, and we continue to appreciate the quality and toughness of the equipment.
BCD (Buoyancy Compensation Device) – Sizes ranging from XXS – XXL. At the shop you can try them on for a good fit. If you are sending us your rental gear list we ask you to please size the BCD like a tight-fitting t-shirt.
FINS – We offer for rent full foot diving fins. Sizes range from Children’s US 2 /3 (European 34/35) to Adults US 13/1 (European 47/48).
MASKS – Scubaquatic silicone masks are available in 2 different sizes that fit most faces.
WETSUITS – Our Scuba Supreme wetsuits are full 3ml. Sizes range from XS – 4XL. We do have a few XS – XL shorties.
REGULATORS – Our Scuba Pro regulators are serviced on a regular basis and include a depth gauge, psi gauge and octopus.
